Last weekend the Layden family came down from Atlanta for a weekend visit and beach trip. (Here's the link to their blog http://ianandlili.blogspot.com/ which has MUCH better photographs than mine, and Debbie L. writes much better prose than I :-) (Just scroll down to "Beach Weekend") Bottom line is we really had a wonderful time and it was nice to take ourselves away from all the work that faces us 24 hours a day. So a BIG thank you to the Laydens for helping us get away from it all for a little while. Hope they can come again SOON!!!

"She is my girlfriend" ~ that word has now been used once to describe Natalie! One of his buddies asked him where we went this past weekend and here is the conversation:
Reese: What did ya do on Saturday?
Ian: We went to Mobile to visit Natalie, oh and we went to the beach too.
Reese: Is Natalie like your cousin?
Ian: No, she is my girlfriend.
Reese: Cool, you have girlfriend?
Ian (spoken proudly): Yea
Conversation QUICKLY changes to the new Shrek movie :D He picked three of the pictures to send to Walgreens for prints ~ do you want to guess which one he picked! They are all on my blog!
